Brief

Fragile Bird came to me looking to create a simple animated music video that would capture the energy of their new single ‘Full of Fear (It Is What It Is)’. They wanted the visuals to convey the dark, self-critical and pensive themes of the song, as well as fit the overall musical tone and atmosphere.

Outcome

Craig (Fragile Bird) and I worked together to create a visual motif that runs through the video. Together, we arrived on the image of flowers blooming over a portrait of Craig, before slowly disappearing (“slowly fade away”) until nothing remains. The video captures the track’s themes of loss and growth.
